Small restaurant ambiance ramen joint with great food. The prices are a bit higher that what I am accustomed to for Ramen but the food is great. Only reason why I didn't rate 5 stars is because it's a bit challenging to order through their kiosk. The person working tried helping me but there was a bit language barrier but it was enough to get the job done. I ordered the spicy ramen for my gf.

Spicy Tonkotsu is my "goto" ramen. I learned about Kotoya not long ago by accident. The I-10 was so packed, I got off the freeway to take the surface streets... and there it was... with a parking spot right in front of the restaurant... waiting for me. LOL ... This was my second visit. I am in love with their spicy tonkotsu broth and their thicker noodles. You place your order on the iPad, they don't take cash. I really enjoy sitting outside.

Kotoya is pretty decent ramen spot! I've had the spicy ramen and it was really good. A little more oily and salty for my taste though. I would come back again and try other things. The noodles are pretty good, they're a good size with a decent bite. The staff are friendly, and it's a very small restaurant, so you'll be cramped inside, Also parking on this street is bad but you can find ample parking the next block over.

The end of an era. This has been my spot since 2016 and even when I moved out of the area I would still visit Kotoya for ramen. They will close their doors on June 30th 2024. I did ask the server what's going to happen and she did say they will still be serving ramen but under new ownership and a new name and that it won't be the ramen that we came to know and love. I'm going to miss Kotoya but I'm thankful for the memories I made coming here. It was a pleasure!!
